Hangzhou Repulse Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as: Repulse Technology) was invited to present its self-developed microwave radiometer SMR-100 and fog drop spectrum analysis system FM-120 for the first time at the third Civil Aviation Technology Equipment and Service Exhibition in 2023.

The microwave radiometer SMR-100 can automatically obtain the profile of atmospheric temperature, humidity, water vapor and liquid water at vertical 0-10km altitude without attending all weather. The cloud base height, temperature and fog thickness of low cloud can be retrieved. According to the high resolution detection data, the parameters of atmospheric instability can be calculated, and the dynamic and thermal conditions change with time can be obtained, which provides support for the monitoring and forecasting of severe convective weather.

Fog drop spectrum analysis system FM-120, based on the intensity of the forescattered light generated by fog drops, carries on the fractional counting of 2 ~ 50μm fog drop particles, and gets the number concentration, average diameter, liquid water content and other data of particles in each interval. Anti-icing heater and all-weather housing make it suitable for ground or tower installation. It provides technical support for the study of fog structure characteristics, the change of fog generation and dissipation, and the visibility monitoring of airport.
