From July 26 to 28, the first Low-altitude Economic Weather Frontier Science and Technology Seminar was successfully held in Shenzhen. The seminar was jointly organized by the Chinese Meteorological Society, Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University and Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau, and was specifically organized by the Key Innovation Team of Boundary Layer Meteorology of China Meteorological Administration, the Meteorological Monitoring, Early Warning and Forecast Center of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen Low-level Meteorological Network Construction Preliminary work class) and the School of Atmospheric Sciences of Sun Yat-sen University. More than 100 people from experts and scholars in the field of meteorological research across the country and leaders of meteorological departments in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Hunan, Jiangxi and other places as well as relevant leaders of meteorological enterprises participated in the meeting to jointly discuss the construction of meteorological support system under the low-altitude economy and enable new quality productivity of low-altitude economy.   • Low altitude economic meteorological support

Low altitude economy is a comprehensive economic mode which relies on low altitude airspace, ‌ with civil manned and unmanned aircraft as carrier, ‌ drives the integrated development of related fields through multi-scenario low altitude flight activities such as manned flight, ‌ cargo flight and other operations. ‌ Low-altitude commuting, drone delivery, etc., in recent years, Shenzhen low-altitude economy application scenarios are within reach, but complex and changeable climate conditions also bring challenges to the development of low-altitude economy, how can meteorological services help low-altitude economy.

Safe flight is the key to ensure the sustainable development of low-altitude economy, and meteorological conditions are the key factors affecting the safety and high quality of low-altitude flight. In order to support the construction of low-altitude economic application scenarios and enable the development of low-altitude industries, Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau takes the development of meteorological science and technology industry as the starting point, gathers resources and strength from all parties, builds a low-altitude flight "meteorological monitoring network", builds a low-altitude economic "meteorological digital network", incubates and incubates the "meteorological enabling network", and builds an industrial science and technology innovation platform in the subdivision field of low-altitude meteorology.

The low-level meteorological infrastructure model experiment jointly carried out by Shenzhen Meteorological Innovation Research Institute and more than 10 meteorological science and technology enterprises such as Hangzhou Shallow Sea Technology shows that "the reality is the main, the forecast is supplemented, the density is uniform, the multi-source integration, and the unified benchmark" will be the general direction of low-level meteorological infrastructure.
