On November 21st, the 15th National Games of the People's Republic of China (referred to as the National Games for short) drew to a successful close amid widespread attention.
The closing ceremony was held in Qianhai, Shenzhen. It marked the first time in the history of the National Games that the closing ceremony was staged on a coastal real-scene stage, featuring an innovative integrated design of on-land stands and a water-based performance area. A pioneering 270° sea-view immersive stage was adopted with the theme Starry Skies and Vast Oceans.
This grand feast of sports and culture not only showcased the outstanding demeanor of athletes, but also set extremely high requirements for meteorological service support.

Measurable "Heavenly Timing": The "Intelligent Sky Eye" at the Closing Ceremony

For large-scale outdoor events, especially those held by the coast, the weather is highly volatile, featuring complex wind field structures, sudden formation of low clouds and rapid changes in visibility—all of which greatly increase the difficulty of meteorological support.

Live Cloud Image Streaming, Evidence-Based Decision-Making: The high-definition all-sky images generated by the system allow forecasters to visually "witness" the entire process of cloud formation, development, movement and dissipation, providing irreplaceable decision-making basis for short-range forecasting.

Powerful Alliance: The Perfect Integration of Technology and Wisdom

In this high-standard and highly challenging meteorological support mission, Qinhai Technology and the professional team of the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau worked closely together to form a powerful synergy of cutting-edge equipment plus expert wisdom.
Leveraging its profound forecasting experience and robust integrated observation network, the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau built a comprehensive meteorological protection network for the closing ceremony. Meanwhile, Qinhai Technology’s All-Sky Automatic Imaging System acted as a crucial "frontline sentinel" in this network, filling the blind spots of conventional radars in short-range detection and achieving seamless monitoring of refined weather conditions in the core venue area.
The National Games is not only a stage for athletes to showcase their prowess, but also a practical platform for the in-depth integration of meteorological technology and large-scale sports events. From three-dimensional monitoring to intelligent forecasting, and from data sharing to cross-regional collaboration, refined meteorological service support serves as the most reliable "partner" both on and off the venue.
This in-depth integration marks the transition of meteorological services from extensive forecasting to precise support characterized by fixed locations, fixed timings, and quantitative metrics, setting a new benchmark for meteorological support of large-scale events in the Greater Bay Area and even across the nation in the future.

Shallow-sea: With the Eyes of Innovation, We Discern the Vicissitudes of the Firmament

This successful service for the closing ceremony of the National Games is not only a powerful testament to the reliability and advanced technology of Qinhai Technology's products, but also a vivid practice of the company’s philosophy of "Perceiving the world and serving society through technological innovation".
In the future, Shallow-sea Technology will continue to uphold the spirit of craftsmanship, devote itself to the integrated innovation of meteorological observation and artificial intelligence, and strive to provide more intelligent and accurate environmental perception solutions for all walks of life. We will contribute more "Shallow-sea Power" to the construction and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the better life of the people!
