Microwave Radiometer (SMR-100)
SMR-100 Ground-based microwave radiometer is a ground-based microwave remote sensing device that can judge the changes of atmospheric temperature and humidity by passively receiving microwave signals of atmospheric radiation from various heights. It plays an important role in detecting small and medium scale weather phenomena, such as storm, lightning, heavy rainfall, fog, freezing, boundary layer jet, turbulence, etc.
Product Description
The temperature, humidity and liquid water in the troposphere profile of ground-based microwave radiometer, the study of weather and climate model, the near forecast of atmospheric stability (severe weather detection), temperature inversion detection, fog, air pollution, have become important detection means besides sounding balloon and weather radar. The ground-based microwave radiometer can work continuously and unsupervised for a long time under various environmental conditions, and obtain the profile data of atmospheric physical quantities such as temperature, humidity and water vapor in the troposphere in real time, so as to make up for the shortage of radiosonde stations and the lack of radiosonde data in automatic weather stations.
