From October 25 to 27, the 2023 Academic Exchange Meeting of the Meteorological, Hydrographic and Oceanic Instruments Branch of China Instrumentation Society was successfully held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The conference was hosted by the Meteorological, Hydrographic and Oceanic Instruments Branch of the Chinese Society of Instrumentation, College of Meteorology and Oceanography, National University of Defense Technology, Beijing Xiangyuan Meteorological Observation Technology Research Institute, and Yunnan Provincial Atmospheric Sounding Technology Support Center. Centering on the theme of "Social services and public meteorological, hydrological and ocean observation new technologies and new methods", special reports, academic exchanges and technical achievements of meteorological, hydrological and ocean instrument industry experts were carried out.
