March 23, 2026 marks the 66th World Meteorological Day, themed **"Monitoring Today's Weather, Safeguarding Tomorrow's Home"**. The main purpose of World Meteorological Day is to popularize meteorological knowledge, raise public awareness and attention to meteorological work, promote the application of meteorological science and technology in disaster prevention and mitigation, climate adaptation and various fields, advance global meteorological cooperation, and safeguard human security and sustainable development.

On March 21, the China Meteorological Administration and the Chinese Meteorological Society launched the 2026 World Meteorological Day events in Beijing. Taking this opportunity, they popularized meteorological scientific knowledge, encouraged the public to pay attention to and understand meteorology, and jointly safeguard the human homeland.



Qianhai Technology was honored to participate with a range of core equipment for vertical detection, low-altitude meteorology and airborne detection, including microwave radiometers, two-dimensional visual disdrometers, marine meteorological drifting observatories, three-dimensional scanning laser wind lidars, vertical laser wind lidars, coherent Doppler laser wind lidars, and integrated cloud detection and analysis systems.

At the equipment exhibition area, the company comprehensively demonstrated and introduced to the public the mysteries of low-altitude atmospheric and marine meteorological detection.

On March 22, at the event venue of the Zhejiang Provincial Atmospheric Sounding Technical Support Center in Hangzhou, the company’s exhibition lineup was fully upgraded with newly added equipment including the fog droplet spectrum analysis system, Mie-scattering aerosol lidar, low-altitude economic mini meteorological station, three-dimensional anemoscope, and all-sky automatic imaging system.

Covering various fields such as low-altitude meteorology, atmospheric aerosols, and marine meteorological observation, it brought an immersive meteorological technology experience to the public in Hangzhou.

On March 22, the joint themed event *"Everything Renews, Water and Sky Move Forward Together"* for 2026 World Water Day · China Water Week and World Meteorological Day, hosted by the Shenzhen Water Affairs Bureau and the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau, officially kicked off at the Maizhou River Yanluo Wetland Park.



In the special zone for high-tech water conservancy and meteorological equipment exhibition, Qianhai Technology focused on displaying the low-altitude economic mini meteorological station, vertical laser wind lidar, and all-sky automatic imaging system, providing scientific and technological support for the coordinated meteorological and water conservancy protection of this coastal city.

On March 23, the company headed to Taiyuan and participated in the World Meteorological Day events hosted by the Shanxi Meteorological Bureau with a 3D anemoscope, vertical laser wind lidar, coherent Doppler laser wind lidar, and all-sky automatic imaging system.

It brought precise meteorological detection technologies to North China, helping local residents deepen their understanding of meteorological observation.



Cutting-edge Equipment on Display, Demonstrating the Power of Technology for Protection



During this exhibition, Qianhai Technology focused on two core scenarios: low-altitude economy and meteorological detection. A number of independently developed equipment became the highlights of the events.

The low-altitude economic mini meteorological station is specially designed for low-altitude industries such as unmanned aerial vehicles and general aviation. It can collect real-time low-altitude atmospheric data and provide accurate support for low-altitude flight safety.

Series of laser wind measurement equipment, including 3D scanning laser wind lidar and vertical laser wind lidar, achieve precise measurement of wind field data through high-precision laser detection technology, supporting extreme weather early warning and climate research.


The 2D Visual Disdrometer and Fog Droplet Spectrum Analysis System can intuitively display the microphysical distribution characteristics of precipitation and fog droplets, providing core data support for weather forecasting and weather modification operations.

The Marine Meteorological Drifting Observation Instrument focuses on in-depth marine observation, assisting in early warning of marine meteorological disasters and the development of marine resources.

The Integrated Cloud Detection and Analysis System realizes three-dimensional monitoring and analysis of cloud systems through multi-equipment collaboration, ensuring improved accuracy in weather forecasting.
